This database provides a collection of the most useful forms for anyone who wants to draft a will in French. Both practitioners and the general public benefit from access to model documents that reflect the legal systems where they live. Ontarians definitely have the right to make their wills in French, and the community should therefore share standard forms that are well written and have acquired the same weight as their English-language counterparts.
From its inception, the CLTD has been part of the effort by the francophone community to encourage the use of wills written in French, by distributing models designed for use in Ontario. We are very proud to make our wills collection available to everyone.
