Both practitioners and the general public benefit from access to model documents that reflect the legal systems where\u00a0they live. Ontarians definitely have the right to make their wills in French, and the community should therefore share standard forms that are well written and have acquired the same weight as their English-language\u00a0counterparts.<\/p>\n<p>From its inception, the CLTD has been part of the effort by the francophone\u00a0community to encourage the use of wills written in French, by distributing models designed for use in Ontario.
