The CLTD published its Legal Glossary of Federal Statutes in 1998. This is the version that is presented here in user-friendly format. Francophone lawyers, drafters and members of the public will find French-language equivalents of about 85,000 entries in this glossary, all collected from the statutes of Canada. As in the case of the Lexicon of Ontario Statutes and Regulations, this lexicon
presents selected terms, shown in context to assist users in identifying the precise meanings of the terms presented as equivalents and show how texts in which they are used are phrased. Each term and example of context given is accompanied by a citation of the statute in which it was found.
