The CLTD has developed and published a number of lexicons, including the Lexicon of Ontario Statutes and Regulations in 1989. The user-friendly electronic version presented here is the one that was published and updated in 1993, in cooperation with the Office of the Legislative Counsel of Ontario.
This lexicon is a very complete one-stop tool for anyone searching for words in common law French. It contains almost 50,000 terms and their equivalents, taken from the Revised Statutes of Ontario, 1990, the Statutes of Ontario, 1991, the Statutes of Ontario, 1992, and the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990.
Under each heading, the lexicon both identifies equivalents taken from the statutes and regulations of Ontario and provides context that contains very useful examples of phrasing.
